Middle Division

    Middle Division Service Learning Program

The Casady Service Learning Program aligns with the mission statement. We strive to develop excellence, confidence, and integrity in Middle Division students. Service learning empowers Cyclones to engage their mind, body, and spirit to make a positive difference in their community and world.

The Middle Division incorporates SEE (Service Enrichment Experiences), Middle Division Service Club, International Club, religious education classes, and the school’s traditional “House System” to provide academic outreach. Students develop relationship within the surrounding community and serve at Andrew Johnson Elementary School, The Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma, senior facilities in The Village, and others. SEE period attendance and engagement is required for seventh and eighth grade students five times during a given school year unless excused by administration.

Proceeds from weekly doughnut sales provide scholarships at Bishop McAllister College for Ugandan orphans, which is a project facilitated through the Bible classes.
Middle Division students may apply for a Presidential Volunteer Service Award. Middle Division students may earn a gold, bronze, or silver pin; the awards are given during a special recognition Chapel at the end of each school year. Middle Division students may choose to track hours on a community service hours log, which is due by to Ms. Cherylynn O'Melia, Service Learning Director, by April 1.

“Middle Division seeks to empower students for Upper Division servant leadership, a portrait of service and integrity.” Ms. Cherylynn O’Melia, Director of Service Learning
