Virtual Service Learning and FAQ's

Q: What is the plan regarding UD service hours for the 2020-2021 school year?

A: Casady will freeze required service learning hours for all 9th-12th grade students for 2020-2021. We will continue the 45 hour graduation requirement for all UD students in 2021-2022.

Q: Are service hours still logged during the upcoming school year?

A: During the school year 2020-2021 UD students log completed service hours on MobileServe to receive credit.

Q: What are some suggestions for (social distance appropriate) service activities to complete my service goals?

A: There are many options for remote service learning. Below are some ideas; however, projects are not limited to my suggestions. Just remember to maintain social distancing as recommended by the CDC when engaging in all service experiences. Additionally all UD students are required to document service by taking screenshots/photos or recordings of your activity and posting on MobileServe along with your service logs. All activities must be done with parental permission.
