Monday is "MLK Day" in the U.S.
Beyond all of his accomplishments, Dr. King left us an important question to ponder."Life's most persistent and urgent question is: 'What are you doing for others?'"
MLK Day, thus, is also a Day of Service.
On November 2, 1983, President Reagan signed a Bill creating a national holiday to mark the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Mrs. King was present at the signing ceremony and also spoke to the gathered crowd.
